How it works

Make a line graph in four steps

1

Paste your data

Paste comma, tab, or semicolon separated rows with a header. Put dates or categories in the first column and up to four numeric series after it.

2

Check the preview

The line graph updates as you type. Fix any highlighted row, header, or value problem before exporting.

3

Customize the chart

Add a title and axis labels, choose a line style, toggle points and grid lines, and pick a color for each series.

4

Download the graph

Export a scalable SVG for editing or a high-resolution PNG with a white background for newsletters, slides, and reports.

Tips for a readable line graph

  • Use a line graph for ordered data such as days, weeks, months, or survey waves.
  • Keep to four lines or fewer so readers can follow each trend.
  • Write axis labels with units, such as "Revenue (USD)" or "Open rate (%)".
  • Turn on "Start y-axis at zero" when readers will compare absolute size rather than change.

Supported data formats

Copy rows straight from Excel, Google Sheets, or a CSV file. Values may include thousands separators, a leading currency symbol, a minus sign, decimals, or a trailing percent sign. Wrap values that contain the delimiter in double quotes. Semicolon-separated data may use a comma as the decimal mark.

Line graph maker FAQ

Is this line graph maker free?

Yes. You can paste data, customize the chart, and download SVG or PNG files without an account, watermark, or payment.

Is my data uploaded to AICurate?

No. Parsing, chart drawing, and file export all run in your browser. The numbers you paste are not sent to or stored by AICurate.

How should I format data for a line graph?

Use a header row, then one row per date or category. The first column holds the x-axis labels and each other column becomes a line. Rows stay in the order you paste them.

Can I plot more than one line?

Yes. Add up to four numeric columns to compare series on the same axes. Each line gets its own color and marker shape so it stays readable in print.

Should I download SVG or PNG?

Choose SVG when you want a sharp, editable vector file for design tools or the web. Choose PNG when an email platform, slide deck, or document needs a standard image.
